Calculating Speed!
The first big idea of the new Force & Motion Unit is calculating speed. This is the same equation in all of your video games, the snap chat filter that tells you mph, and all of our GPS based phone apps - looking at you Pokemon Go!
Speed = Distance / Time
We are DRILLING this formula over the next few weeks. It's going to get math heavy so make sure you're practicing. Here is a copy of the practice sheet from class today.
